While time management skills are vital, they are not
necessarily innate. It can be difficult to find a balance in which one can
comfortably meet all their deadlines while still being able to enjoy their free
time. This is where Fly Like The Time comes in. This blog will be updated with
helpful tips and tricks to help students finish their assignments on time,
develop effective studying strategies, and get the most out of their free time.
To get you started, check out these great time management tips from Forbes.
In addition to general time management advice, a video game
review will be uploaded weekly. While this may seem unorthodox to some, a
study from Pew found that 70% of college students play games,
with half of them admitting that games took away from their study time. Games have also become far more accessible since the study was conducted, so the numbers have likely risen. Posting game reviews is an excellent way to help college gamers decide if the latest games are worth their time, while also giving me a chance to discuss how I balance one of my personal hobbies with my work.

Hi Jordan!
ReplyDeleteI think this blog will become an excellent resource for students who are struggling with time management.
Often times I see students shocked when they transition from High School to college! This blog could make the transition more fluid.
Also the idea of video game reviews is an interesting way to incorporate time management and personal interest!
I am interested to see the progression of this blog!
